REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) – Community Connection to Wildlands Program
The Watershed Conservation Authority (WCA) intends to select Catalina Island Conservancy, Nature for All, Sierra Club, Nunez and Nunez and Bewilder to provide services for the Community Connection to Wildlands Program.
Should a proposer claim the WCA failed to follow the procedures specified in either subdivision
(b) or (c) of PCC § 10344, protestant must submit the initial protest letter and a detailed, written
statement of protest, including the RFP title, and WCA contact information to the following.

The Watershed Conservation Authority (WCA) is requesting proposals from qualified organizations to provide services for the Community Connection to Wildlands Program that will facilitate access to public lands and outdoor passive recreational activities for Southeast Los Angeles County youth.
The Program will provide overnight nature trips for Southeast Los Angeles County youth to areas in the Los Angeles County Wildlands including youth-oriented adventure activities. The first trips are anticipated to start Fall 2023 and in 2024. The initial contract period will begin no earlier than August 1, 2023 for a term through 2024 with options to continue services.
Submittals must be received by Wednesday August 16, 2023, 5pm.
Questions and requests for clarification must be received by Tuesday August 8, 2023, 5pm.
