Speaker time may be reduced depending on the number of speakers.

9.   Consideration of a resolution to approve Executive Officer or Designee to negotiate and enter into a contract to provide a legal description for access easement to WCA’s Walnut Creek Habitat and Open Space.

 

Regular Calendar
10.   Receive and file a report to transfer from the Azusa-RMC Joint Powers Authority to the Watershed Conservation Authority in fee 201 acres in the City of Azusa.
11.    Consideration of a resolution to approve (1) grant application and (2) acceptance of funding from the Rivers and Mountains Conservancy for the Community Connection to Wildlands Project.
12.   Consideration of a resolution to approve Executive Officer or Designee to negotiate and enter into agreement for biological surveys for Least Bell’s Vireo and Southwestern Willow Flycatcher at the Azusa River Wilderness Park for the Entry Improvements Project.
13.   Consideration of a resolution to approve Executive Officer or Designee to negotiate and enter into agreement for aerially deposited lead assessment and lead compliance plan for the Azusa River Wilderness Park for the Entry Improvements Project.
14.   Closed session: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1) and (4), the Watershed Conservation Authority may hold a closed session on the following item: River Park Phase 1A Step 2.
15.   Closed session: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), the Watershed Conservation Authority may hold a closed session on the following item: Conference with Legal Counsel – Existing Litigation (Case No. WC-CM-488803).
16.   Announcement of next meeting date – Thursday, May 18, 2023 @ 1:30 pm
17.   Adjournment

 

Public participation is welcome on any agenda item. Members of the public wishing to address the Governing Body on any item should address the Chair. During the meeting, the governing board may hold a closed session on any item pursuant to Government Code sections 54956.8 and 54956.9.
